2nd Annual Ellae Lisque Fashion Show Featuring Maxie J

LA’s finest in fashion and entertainment attended the 2nd annual Ellae Lisque Fashion Show Sunday, September 3, 2017. Hubble Studios was transformed into an elegant runway that featured fire hot designs from Ellae Lisque Founder Maxie James, Nicole Lynel, Con and Scooter Styles. The show hosted by Karen Civil featured fire dancers, elite guests, and some of the top models in LA. We got a chance to speak with Insecure’s Dominique Perry and Sarunas J. Jackson, Miss Diddy LA, Daniel Booby Gibson, Designer Maxie J and more. We got the scoop on their everyday style, the most expensive piece in their closet and what it takes to be fly.

The event was not only a preview to fall fashion but a birthday celebration for the one and only Maxie J who found her start in fashion as a stylist to many prominent Hollywood celebrities. Her distinctive taste and reputation for being well-dressed no matter the occasion made her a magnet for fashion advice and styling inquires. This is what inspired Maxie to use her creativity to build the brand Ellaé Lisqué. Summer 2014 was the start of Ellaé Lisqué which opened online with a small collection of six dresses. With hard work, two short years, and two collections later Ellaé Lisqué expanded to become a store-front on the famous Melrose Avenue, in Los Angeles, CA under the name “StyleHouse by Maxie.J.”
