The Inglewood City Council announced at Volume Studios that April 6th is officially KICKit World Day! Inglewood Mayor Pro Tem Councilmember Eloy Morales, Aisha L. Thompson, Councilmember Dionne Faulk, facilitated by Mayor Butts Chief of Staff Sharis Rhodes presented a commendation to the founder of KICKit World Thorsten Meier on stage. Miss Conversation Piece had the chance to chat with Thorsten Meier, the mastermind behind this awesome event. KICKit World isn’t your average festival – it’s a whole vibe. Picture this: a Hoop Bus, free food from I Love You Restaurant, and top-notch masterclasses from the likes of Jaden Smith and Larrance Dopson. It’s like a dream come true for the kids in Inglewood, sports enthusiasts, and anyone looking to have a great time. KICKit World Festival is more than just about sports and fashion; it’s about empowering young minds and giving them knowledge. From skateboarding to roller skating, and basketball, there was something for everyone to enjoy. And let’s not forget the killer music concert that wrapped up the all-day festival on a high note! This festival is breaking barriers and creating a space where kids can explore new passions, connect with others, and just have a great time. KICKit is not just an event; it’s an invitation to dive into a world of culture, sports, fashion, and music. It’s a celebration of good vibes. Don’t miss it next year!
