Reps. Cedric Richmond & Matt Gatez Have Heated Exchange at the House of Judiciary Committee
Wednesday it got heated between two political officials Cedric Richmond (D-LA) and Matt Gatez (R-FLA) at the House of Judiciary Committee hearing on police reform. The hearing was scheduled to discuss police reforming due to the recent tragedy of George Floyd.
In the course of the meeting Cedric expressed to his fellow lawmakers the adversity black men face in america.

His frustration came from colleagues that kept introducing amendments instead of voting on the issue at hand, stating that it is only a distraction from the real problem. Gatez opposes that they can not understand the issue personally.
“I appreciate your passion,” Gaetz told the Democratic lawmaker. “Are you suggesting that you’re certain that none of us have non-white children? Because you reflect on your black son, and you said none of us could understand.” https://thehill.com/blogs/
